2009 MTS International Rope Technology Workshop

OCEANS 2010 will be held September 20th — 23rd at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle, Washington. This is the annual conference of the Marine Technology Society, and it is jointly sponsored by MTS and the Oceanic Engineering Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE/OES).

Call for Papers

The conference website is now accepting abstracts for technical papers and student posters.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is May 15.

Authors will be notified of acceptance on or shortly after June 15.
The full paper is due on August 1.
One of the authors must attend the conference and present the paper.

It is recommended that the author indicate a topic when submitting an abstract and that the email include the topic number which corresponds to a specific committee.
The topic numbers can be found here and in the table below.
It is suggested that a copy of the abstract be sent to the appropriate MTS Committee Chair so the abstract can be tracked.
